Always Perform a Pre-Ride Inspection
Nothing spoils a fun outing faster than mechanical problems. In some cases, malfunctioning equipment also can cause injuries. A pre-ride inspection should become automatic before each outing. Remember, an ATV can take you farther in an hour than you can walk in a day.
- Check your owner’s manual for proper maintenance.
- Before you perform each pre-ride safety check, set the parking brake.
