Crossing Roads

You may cross a public road that is not part of the Interstate Highway System only when travelling to another area authorized for OHV use. To cross the road legally, you must:

  • Cross at a 90-degree angle, at a location without any obstructions to crossing quickly and safely.
  • Bring the OHV to a complete stop before entering any part of the roadway.
  • Yield the right-of-way to traffic on the roadway.
