ATV Definition
According to Pennsylvania law, an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) is a motorized off-highway vehicle (OHV) that travels on three or more inflatable tires. It includes either of the following vehicles.
- Class I ATV has a maximum width of 50 inches and a maximum dry weight of 1,000 pounds.
- Class II ATV has a width that exceeds 50 inches or a dry weight that exceeds 1,000 pounds.
