Maine's Registration Requirements
All ATVs and snowmobiles must be registered prior to operation unless riding on land that the owner lives or on land that the owner is domiciled as long as the ATV or snowmobile is not operated elsewhere within the State.
There are a few exemptions, such as farm use or other situations, and it’s important to know what they are and how they may apply before you operate.
