Displaying the License Plate and Registration Sticker
The placement of the OHV sticker depends on the type of vehicle and whether you have a restricted vehicle license plate. The sticker must be visible and kept legible at all times.
On vehicles with a restricted vehicle license plate, the license plate must be attached to the rear of the OHV. The registration sticker must be affixed to the lower right corner of the license plate.
On ATVs, UTVs, and SOHVs without a restricted vehicle license plate, the registration sticker must be affixed to the rear fender of the vehicle.
On all motorbikes, the registration sticker must be affixed to the rider’s right fork.
Motorcycles and motorbikes that have been converted to motorcycles may display the red, white, and blue motor vehicle license plate instead of the restricted vehicle license plate. However, to operate off-highway, these vehicles still must have an OHV registration sticker affixed to the rider’s right fork.
