Along with a tool kit and your owner’s manual, carry these other emergency items:
- 25 feet of nylon rope
- Cell phone
- Electrical and duct tape
- Extra key
- Extra spark plugs—worn plugs are the number-one cause of engine stalling
- First-aid kit (see Unit 7)
- Flashlight
- Headlight and taillight bulbs
- Knife
- Sunblock
- Sturdy tow rope or chain
